What courses do you offer?

We offer private driving lessons for all ages in addition to: 4-hr Basic Driver Improvement, 8-hr Basic Driver Improvement, 8-Hr Aggressive Driver Improvement and 12-hr Advanced Driver Improvement and we also offer our own exclusive online 32-hour Drivers Ed program.

Are you state certified?

Yes! Avanti Driving School is state certified since 1983 in order to provide safe driving instruction.

What documents are needed?

Proof of Identification Bring your birth certificate or United States Passport. It must be either your original birth certificate (a copy is not acceptable) or a certified copy of your birth certificate issued by the state you were born in.
Proof of Social Security Number Bring your original social security card or your W-2 showing your social security number.
Certification of Address (2 utility bills or bank statements from 2 different institutions)
Certification of Address Form (when only 1 proof of residential address is available)
Certification of Minor Driving Experience Form (71143) for a minor child to obtain a driver license. This form must be completed and signed in the presence of a driver license examiner, or notarized if parent or guardian or other responsible adult over the age of 21 will not be present.
Certificate of Completion Drivers Ed 6-hr Hour DETS course for all NEW drivers under the age of 18, effective August 1, 2025. Current 4-hour Drug and Alcohol course dated July 31 or earlier will be honored until expiration and is reported directly to FLDHSMV. The FLDHSMV will not accept "paper" certificates.

How much are lessons?

Unlike other driving schools that try to lock in their clients into a set series of sessions, Avanti Driving School offers all of our clients a variety of choices and options to choose from. Avanti Driving school knows – with over 42+ years experience under our belt – teaching people the life skill task of driving varies from one person to the next and that everyone’s driving instruction needs are different.

Avanti Driving School has single/individual driving instruction lessons which range from $120 – 140 per session and series of lessons starting at $375.00. We also have what we call: the road test review – so you’ll know EXACTLY what is expected of you to perform properly so you can ace the driver license road test exam on your very first try. We also offer road test options!

Who can take lessons?

Avanti Driving School offers individual private driving lessons instruction for teens, adults and seniors as long as they have a valid learners permit or, drivers license.

As we all know – we all have – different learning styles and needs and at Avanti Driving school we are aware that not everyone learns the task of driving at the same pace and, that everyone learns how to drive differently. Avanti Driving School instructors are known for their patience and extensive experience in teaching adult drivers, teen drivers and senior drivers feel relaxed and confident when it pertains to Boca Raton city driving and the south Florida roads.
