In Florida many insurance companies offer discounts for completing a 4 hour state certified accredited driver education program (16-54 years of age), or, a 6-hour hour state certified accredited driver education program (55+ years of age), regardless of age. However, some insurance companies offer yearly "loyalty discounts" which provides additional savings without needing to complete a defensive driving course.
