What happens if I get 12 points on my license?

In Florida your license will be suspended for one month if you receive 12 points on your license.

What is the "Use and Lose" law?

Under the "Use and Lose" law, drivers less than 21 with a BAC of 0.02 or above may lose their license.

What is implied consent law?

When you operate a motor vehicle on roadways, you have agreed to take a chemical test for alcohol if suspected of drinking and driving under the implied consent law.

Fully licensed drivers may use a hands-free device (like Bluetooth) for calls, but they can still be stopped and cited for distracted driving. Learner's permit and provisional drivers may not use a cell phone at all.
