This course, 4-Hour Basic Driver Improvement, 4-Hour BDI, also referred to as 4-Hour DDC, are for individuals who received a ticket and either elected the option of taking a driver improvement course or, are court ordered to attend a 4-hour driving school course for adjudication to be withheld and not points assessed on your driver license. In most cases your safe driver status will remain.
4-hour TCAC also referred to as the Traffic Collision Avoidance Course is for individuals who received a citation when they got into a car crash and/or did not elect to go to *traffic school, will receive a letter from the Florida Department of Highway Safety requiring them to complete a 4-Hour Traffic Collision Avoidance Course.
